Cacti
Cacti

More alone now, than ever,
The blissful moments of college warmth is over,
The friends, we promise to look out for,
Are all busy, with their one this one life.
I remember, I was the one who joined the groups,
I made sure, no one ever felt left out, a crime to coup,
And that could be the extrovert-iest person ever,
Or someone, a person who's trying, a wallflower.
Or it could be the most casual person,
Or maybe a wierd one, my fabulous,
And not because, I'm an empath or something, no,
But because it's me, I look out, for good-bad even-alike.
One moment I could be the most aloud nuisance ever,
Not caring for anyone, galloping like I own these streets,
The next moment, I'll be sitting in a calm mulled sunset,
Holding my cold feet-and nose, just me with me.
Now when it's just me, I need to be taken care of,
Somthing that tells me, yes I'm alive and breathing,
So I got myself, a pot of mud, and a plant of cacti,
They are amazing, they live out for you, just there.
And everytime I see it, and that I see, it's been same and vital,
It gives me a reassurance, that I'm doing good,
Taking care of it, and so in process of myself too,
For a didn't bring a blind hope, I had real agenda.
Thought so, to remind me; to take care of it like myself,
And if it dies, it means, I need to take care for me more,
And I'm proud to say, until this day, it's the first one,
For cactus is known for thriving, so am I, for one.
Life is about little pleasure, and that accounts for the best,
It's hard for everyone, and everyone's doing great,
Remember that you're a cactus, and you'll bloom,
It could not be visible to others, but what matters is you.
When would people understand me, can they,
Guess what we experience is non-transferrable, us only,
One way, and than that's why, it's a must for everyone,
To live, to make good and bad decisions, to just go on.
The favourite game of life, as I've understood, is to humble,
If you see, we have to get up and get moving, after we fumble,
But when life will dash before the eyes, it's this that we'll remember,
Me, and with all of you, a thankful gaze, in a distinct fleeting chamber.
